We are Frazer & Dana Gieselmann - we have 3 girls, Ann Carlyle (10yrs), Milla & Elle. In Aug 2013, Milla had her first seizure just before turning 3yrs old. We started this blog primarily to give updates on Milla's condition. In Oct 2014, we learned that Milla had Batten Disease, a rare & fatal brain disease. A few weeks later, we learned that Elle also has this disease. Milla passed away Nov 26, 2016. She was 6 years old. Elle passed away May 4, 2019. She was 7 years old.
Dana and Frazier, Words are in adequate at moments like this. I have prayed for you many times over the last couple of years. My husband and I are bathing you all in prayer. I cannot imagine the pain that you feel, but I know that our Savior is sustaining in ways we cannot understanding. I am grateful to know you love Him and that He will uphold you. I will continue to pray for you all as you walk this journey and reflect Christ. Amy (Floyd) Pellegra
You don't know me; I follow your blog because I know Tim & Lea. I have been thinking about your family all day... just praying that you would be filled with peace, right now... not knowing what 'right now' meant. I have no idea what you are going through, but assume it is so complicated. Just know that people you don't even know are praying for your family - and I'm in California (saw Frazer at Lindsey & Matt's wedding but didn't introduce myself). Bless you all. Alison Lindsey
We haven't met, but I am from Memphis and married to Harry Jones (ECS guy) and we have some mutual friends. We have been praying for y'all after breakfast for months. Just wanted you to know that you are loved and prayed over. We are so sorry, and we are longingly praying for the day when all that has been lost is restored. With love, Laura Jones
I don't know if you remember me but we lived next to Neysa when you were in the midtown house. My heart is so broken for you. I'll be saying so many Prayers for your family.
My deepest heartfelt sympathy to you all for the loss of your sweet Milla. I read the article in the paper and was profoundly moved by Milla's struggle in her short time on this earth. I hope you are comforted by how much your story has touched the hearts of people everywhere and how many of us are praying for you and heaven's newest "angel".
Hello. We haven't met, but we have a few mutual friends. My best friend told me about you and your daughters because my name is Milla as well. I'm so, so sorry for your loss... My family lost a child a few years ago, and I know how unspeakably sad it is. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you, and may sweet little Milla rest in peace.
